Merlins Magic!

Just a short post today- but it seems that Merlin has magic within him!

A few weeks ago we planted large wooden troughs with vegetable plants not knowing whether they would be successful or not- they are massively!!

At the bottom of these troughs are piles and piles of horse muck- Merlins. When we went to do the usual watering it seems that these plants have made a mad dash for the heavens as they are massive now. Lush green leaves and healthy strong stems. We have put it down to the fact that they must have finally grown down enough to reach Merlin's muck and have now taken a growing spurt.

Therefore we have now renamed his dung as Merlins Magic- as totally is!

If anyone is coming to Northumberland and would like a boost to their veg plots then let me know and I will fix you up with a bag!
